Sponsor/Donate

Our mission is to encourage the preservation and restoration of Michigan’s native plants and native plant communities.

Sponsorships and Donations

Our mission at the Wildflower Association of Michigan is to encourage the preservation and restoration of Michigan’s native plants and native plant communities. In support of that mission, WAM holds an annual Michigan Native Plant Conference that educates the public about the benefits of native plants. This year’s in person conference offers keynote speakers and breakout sessions that will be attended by hundreds of individuals from across Michigan who are engaged with the native plant movement. Attendees also gain access to four webinars throughout the year.

Donations and sponsorships are also used to fund our WAM Grant program. This gives funding to Michigan non-profits to develop and maintain native plant gardens for public enjoyment and education. We have donated over $150,000 in WAM Grants through the years.

All donations above $49 will reach the Sponsorship level. Sponsors will be recognized in conference materials and on digital platforms. By sponsoring the Michigan Native Plant Conference, firms will send a positive message to their employees and clients that the environment of Michigan is important to them, and that the firm is ready to make a commitment to the future of our state.
